Le projet AA-Biomasse

Dans le contexte d'une transition énergétique de plus en plus urgente, tous les types d'énergies renouvelables sont en pleine expansion. L'une d'entre elle qui permet de générer plusieurs modèles d'énergie est très utilisée dans de multiples process et projets. Il s'agit de la Biomasse.

L'énergie issue de la biomasse est une source d'énergie renouvelable qui dépend du cycle de la matière vivante végétale et animale. Cette énergie permet de fabriquer de l'électricité grâce à la chaleur dégagée par la combustion de ces matières (bois, végétaux, déchets agricoles, ordures ménagères organiques) ou du biogaz issu de la fermentation de ces matières, dans des centrales biomasse. Les déchets sont directement brûlés en produisant de la chaleur, de l'électricité ou les deux (cogénération). Cela concerne le bois, les déchets des industries de transformation du bois et les déchets végétaux agricoles (paille, canne à sucre, arachide, noix de coco ... ).

En France, 10 % de la production d'électricité d'origine biomasse provient de la combustion du biogaz. Plusieurs centrales produisent de l'électricité grâce à la biomasse, essentiellement du bois. Elles sont le plus souvent installées au plus près des lieux mêmes de stockage des déchets. Le bois est également utilisé pour le chauffage collectif et industriel. L'énergie biomasse n'émet presque pas de polluants et n'a pas d'impact sur l'effet de serre. La quantité de C02, un gaz à effet de serre, qu'elle rejette, correspond à la quantité absorbée par les végétaux pendant leur croissance.

De plus, la valorisation du biogaz en électricité évite l'émission de méthane, un autre gaz à effet de serre, dans l'atmosphère. Il représente un potentiel énergétique très important, en provenance principalement des décharges, mais aussi des boues d'épuration et des déchets urbains et agricoles. Aujourd'hui seulement 1/4 de ce potentiel est réellement utilisé pour la production d'électricité et/ou de chaleur.

We have used AA Biomass toploaders on several occasions in our installations. They are well suited to some of our boiler room configurations.

Heizomat boilers are robust and versatile, so they can accept abundant fuels such as miscanthus.

The combination of top loader and boiler makes a lot of sense, and we've had no major problems installing and using AA Biomass systems with our boilers.
